Digital Publishing Solutions reported on the security Konica Minolta offered in November of 2007:
Konica Minolta offers a range of security solutions and protective functions on its B&W and color devices. “Konica Minolta has been rated by Buyer’s Laboratory, with a five star rating when it comes to security and the solutions that the company offers its customers,” says Kern. “Along with our five star rating, we have also been able to distinguish ourselves by making all of our security solutions available as standard features, with the exception of our HDD Security Kit and Biometrics Authentication Unit,” he adds.
“Konica Minolta is the first vendor to offer a Biometrics Authentication Unit capability,” says Kern. “This device actually scans the internal network of vein patterns in a person’s finger, which is even more accurate and secure than a fingerprint,” he adds. Read more here: DPS Magazine
